Oryn 0.42.0
New
- The website has a new section, "Your agents talk to each other". In an animation, Ada, Linus and Grace pass a task through OpenBot. Then a network that is different at each visit grows until it fills the screen. With reduced motion, the section shows the complete network.
- A Help button in the page rail opens a menu with the newest release notes, the full changelog, the guides and Send feedback.
Improved
- The license names Synthetify Labs spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością as the licensor. For a commercial license, write to licenses@openbot.run. The macOS and Windows app copyright also names Synthetify Labs.
- The desktop window has a page rail at the left and a darker frame. The sidebar, the chat and the side panel sit in one card. The rail opens Agents, Routines, Schedule, Usage, Marketplace and Settings, and it shows the plan limits of each provider as rings.
- Settings is now a page of the window, not a dialog, with a search for settings. Server settings is a separate page: open it from the server menu. When you select a different server, the server settings page shows that server.
- The server menu in the top row is now the default way to switch servers. If you chose the server rail before, it stays. To use the rail, open the server menu and select Server layout.
- The chat header has one panel button. It opens the side panel, which shows Browser, Files, Tasks and Agent settings as tabs. Use + to add a tab that is not open, and Maximize to give the panel the full width. When the tab labels do not fit, the tabs that are not selected show only their icon. A pane does not repeat the title and close button of its tab, and its content fades at the scroll edges. The Tasks tab shows closed tasks below the open ones, grouped by day, so you can open and reopen them.
- The account box at the bottom of the sidebar is removed. Sign out is now in Settings > Profile, and Billing stays in Settings. When an update is available, the update notice shows at the bottom of the sidebar in the colors of the old account box.
- The server menu no longer lists Marketplace, Usage and Routines, because the page rail opens them.
- The web app has the same page rail as the desktop app. The switch over the chat list and the account box are removed. Settings on the web holds Billing and Sign out.
- The routine calendar is now named Schedule, the same as its rail button. The Routines button of the rail shows the routines list in the sidebar.
Fixed
- Keep message sends and queue status changes fast when the chat history is long. Before, each change wrote all mailbox messages again, so the app became slower as the history grew.
